Bathford Parish Council, supported by 60 witnesses, applied for the footpath alongside the Bathford Railway Bridge and across the Avon to be registered. If it had not been registered, it would have been lost as a public right of way. BANES has now confirmed that there have been no objections from Network Rail or anybody else and the route will now be recorded on the Definitive Map.
