HISTORY / BACKGROUND
The Bathford Amateur Dramatics Society (BADS) were formed in 1966 by a group of friends who saw a gap in the local community and decided to fill it. Their inaugural production was 'Beside The Seaside' by Leslie Sands.
Since then the group has gone from strength to strength, changing their name to The Bathford Players and mounting ever-popular productions pleasing audiences of both young and old alike.
They have well over 80 productions to their name, performing everything from straight plays, to pantomime, and even cabaret evenings.
Currently they stage two productions a year, a play in the Autumn and a Pantomime in February. Look out for posters and flyers for our productions around the village.

Boeing Boeing, Happy Birthday, Murdered To Death, Caught At The Hop, The Joyride, For Pete's Sake, & The Importance Of Being Ernest.
Previous Pantomimes & Plays For Young People Include:
Aladdin, Cinderella, The Wizard Of Oz, Dick Whittington, Goldilocks & The Three Bears, Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs, Jack & The Beanstalk, Time Travellers Of Transylvania, Robin Hood, Babes In The Wood, The Little Mermaid, Eric & The Round Table and Ernie's Incredible Illucinations.
